Walgreens and AARP are doing a traveling Wellness Tour - I went today and it was great! You get free health screenings valued at $140 including total cholesterol, glucose, blood pressure, body mass index, body composition, and bone density (fyi, they do a finger prick for the cholesterol and glucose, but it really doesn't hurt!). You get a print out with all of your scores and also a free reusable bag and a water bottle filled with tissues, lotion, crayons and a pill box. You also get a free 1 year membership to AARP (if you are not 50 yet, you can get an associate membership or give yours to someone who is 50). We also got free hot dogs, chips and bottled water! The whole process took about 20 minutes and it was fun and informative! Check out the tour schedule to see if they are coming near you!
