Free Lip Balm

Every day until June 20th Burt's Bees is giving away 1,000 coupons for a FREE lip balm.  You can enter between 9am-Noon, but the giveaway will start at a different time each day.  Today I checked around 10:30 and they had not started yet, so I kept checking and got in around 11:30. I didn't go to CVS at all last week!  But this week there are a bunch of good deals, even though some of them are only good until Monday...

Trip 1

Neutrogena sunscreen 1 oz. $1.99 x 2 = $3.98 paid with $4 ECB (adjusted down) earned $10 ECB!

Trip 2

Revlon nail polish $3.99 and earned $3 ECB

Colgate Total $2.99 - $1 Q = $1.99 and earned $2 ECB

Playtex tampons $3.99 - $1 Q = $2.99 and earned $3 ECB

Bandaids $2.99 - $1 Q = $1.99 earned $2 ECB (did this twice)

Glade Fragrance Collection candle $4.99 - $4 Q = $.99

Olay Quench lotion on clearance $3.75 - $1 Q = $2.75

Sobe Life Water BOGO - BOGO Q = $0

Speed Stick Pro deodorant = $3.99 earned $3.99 ECB

Used $5 off $30 purchase 

Used $15 ECB

Total OOP = $1.25 (because I miscalculate a Q!  should have been $.25!)

Earned total of $16 ECB

Trip 3

Cottonelle toilet paper 12 double rolls $5.49 - $1 Q = $4.49

Olay Quench lotion on clearance $3.75 - $1 Q = $2.75 and earned $5 ECB (for buying 2)

2 candy bars for fillers

Paid with $3.99 and $4 ECB's

Total OOP = $.17! (plus got $5 ECB)

Walgreens 5/22/09 Patchouly

Red Barron 12 in. pizza = $1.99 x 2

3 pops = $3.00

Right Guard deodorant = $2.99 - $1 Q = $1.99 and get back $5 RR!

Colgate Visible White = $4.49 get back $4.50 RR 

Phisoderm face and body wash BOGO = $4.99 - $2 Q - $2 Q = $.99

2 clearance candy bars as fillers = $.29 x2

Used $2.50, $4.50 and $8 RR to pay

Total before tax = $.13!!!

Total OOP = $1.10 plus got back $5 and $4.50 RR

So I lost $5.50 in RR but got stuff I will use, like pizza and pop!

***The Colgate Visble White RR is rolling into itself!  That means you can buy one, get your $4.50 RR and then use that to buy another one and so on!  I currently have 4!  However, since it costs $4.49 but you're using a $4.50 RR, you will have to buy something else as a filler to cover the extra penny...

***Also the Right Guard Solid (not gel) that is orange with the basketball on it is giving the $5 RR but ringing up as $2.99 so it's a $2 money maker, more if you have a coupon!

I also made 3 other trips to Walgreens earlier in the week...

Trip 1 

Edge shave gel $1.99 - $1 Q and get back $1 RR

Trip 2

Iceland Health fish oil $9.99 get back $8 RR

So OOP was $13.78 BUT got back $21 RR so made $7.22!  (it would have been $9.22 but my $2 Right Guard coupon didn't scan and I didn't realize it!!!)

Trip 3

Colgate Visible White $4.49 - $1 Q get back $4.50

Right Guard deodorant = $2.99 get back $5

Rite Aid 5/17/09 Patchouly

Right Guard deodorant = $5.99 - $1 Q  ($5 Rebate)

Suave deodorant x 2 = $4.00 - $1 Q   ($3 R)

Wound Wash = $5.49 - $1 Q   ($5.49 R)

Alaway eye drops = $7.99 - $4 Q  ($7.99 R)

I also used a $5 off $25 Q for a grand total of $15.33 BUT then I will get $25.47 back in rebates, so I actually made $10.14 from buying this stuff, crazy!

Softsoap Dispenser $7.99 - $2 Q and Refill $3.99 - $2 Q Buy 2 Softsoap, get $4 ECB (plus have $4 rebate for Softsoap)

2 Softsoap Refills $3.99 each - 2 $2 Q and get $4 ECB

Garnier Fructis styler + travel size shampoo and conditioner $2.99 - $1.00 Q = $2 ECB

Free Aveeno shampoo and conditioner and Dove deodorant (plus a million coupons) that I got in the mail - I think the deodorant is because I belong to Dove Dimensions, which I think you can sign up for online.  And the Aveeno I don't even know, I thought I was signing up for samples and I got full size bottles!  I also got the CVS bag filled with fun stuff that Emily posted a photo of below - for this one I had to get up at midnight and send a text message - oh the random things we do for free stuff!
