CVS 2/1/09 Emily

Unlike Patchouly who only recently has gotten the ECB bug, I've been doing them for awhile. Granted I'm not super crazy about them like the people on the forums but I will use them and have in the past got good deals with them. During Christmas time I had a whole bunch of them saved up which came in very handy the day I broke my Crock Pot on the way to work. It was nacho Friday and we needed a Crock Pot! So I ran to CVS used my ECBs to buy a $25 Crock Pot for .79 cents!

Today in order to get all of the CVS deals I had to go to 3 CVSs. At the first CVS I bought Electrasol Tabs for $2.90-$2.50 manufacturer coupon (MFC) = .40 cents out of pocket (OOP). I also used an in-ad coupon from CVS to get two Hershey's products 2/$3. I had a $3 ECB so my total bill was .49 cents OOP. (First picture above)

After failing at the second CVS I went to a third one where they had the L'Oreal products. I got 4 L'Oreal face cleanser wipes, L'Oreal Skin Genesis Cleanser, and CVS cough drops for $18.88 but also received $20 in ECBs for next time. To get this great deal I used a total of $8 in mfc and $8.16 in CVS coupons. Very exciting except for the fact that I had an argument with the manager over the mfc. In the end she let me use them though she wasn't to happy about it at all! (Second picture above)
